Join a fast-growing global company shaping the future of logistics automation.
At Caljan, we design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that keep global supply chains moving — efficiently, reliably, and sustainably. With operations across Europe and North America, we are on an ambitious growth journey and are looking for a Group Accounting Manager to help us build a best-in-class global finance function.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and aligning our global accounting operations, ensuring compliance with international standards, and driving operational excellence through innovation and technology. Reporting directly to our Group CFO, you will work closely with regional finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
What you’ll do
As our new Group Accounting Manager, you will:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of global accounting, including consolidation, financial reporting, audits, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead the development and implementation of harmonized accounting processes and internal controls group-wide.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards across our operating countries.
- Partner with regional accounting teams to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze and monitor group financial performance, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Manage global transfer pricing policies in line with international tax regulations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and standardization of processes, with a focus on scalability.
- Act as the accounting lead in implementing or optimizing finance systems — including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Keep abreast of global financial reporting trends and regulatory developments.
- Coach and develop a high-performing international accounting team.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What you bring
We imagine you have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance — and likely a professional qualification (e.g., Cand.merc.aud, HD(R)).
- Proven experience managing accounting operations in a global or multinational context.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs, with a background in auditing.
- Familiarity with international tax and transfer pricing practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead across cultures and borders.
- A strategic mindset and a proactive, change-oriented approach.
- A passion for technology, automation, and digital transformation in finance.
- Fluency in English and a willingness to travel internationally when required.
