Business Applications Consultant
Would you like to shape how enterprise applications, data, and business processes support a global organization?
We are looking for a Business Applications Consultant who can connect business needs, financial processes, and technology.
In this role, you will help develop and continuously improve Caljan's business application landscape, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). You will work closely with colleagues across departments and locations to improve processes, support implementations, and ensure our systems create value across the business.
You will join the Group IT department at our headquarters in Hasselager and report to the Group IT Director. The role combines hands-on system ownership, stakeholder collaboration, user support, and participation in our global D365 rollout programme.
About the role
As our Business Applications Consultant, you will support and develop our business applications landscape, with D365 Finance & Operations as your primary focus. Depending on your experience and business needs, you may also work with D365 Field Service, Dataverse, Power Platform, and related integrations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analysing and improving business processes together with stakeholders across the organisation
Supporting the implementation, configuration, and rollout of D365 solutions
Maintaining and developing business applications, integrations, and data interfaces
Delivering user training and providing functional support
Supporting data migration, testing, and system upgrades
Maintaining documentation and helping ensure data quality and process standardisation
Providing guidance and support to users across Caljan's global locations
Your profile
We expect that you have at least three years of experience working with ERP business applications as a consultant, key user, or application specialist.
You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or a similar ERP platform, including implementation, configuration, data management, and user support. Experience from an international manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
To succeed in the role, you:
Have a strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes
Are analytical and solution-oriented
Can translate business requirements into practical system improvements
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Enjoy working collaboratively and supporting end users
Are structured and comfortable managing documentation and process improvements
Have professional proficiency in English
Experience with D365 Field Service, Dataverse, Power Platform, or service and aftermarket processes is a plus but not a requirement.
What we offer
A key role in Caljan's ongoing global D365 transformation
The opportunity to influence systems, processes, and ways of working
Close collaboration with colleagues across functions and countries
A mix of operational responsibilities and strategic projects
Opportunities to develop your skills within D365, Power Platform, and related technologies
A professional and informal work environment focused on teamwork, innovation, and continuous development
The position includes approximately 20-40 travel days per year.
